Joe Piazza grew up watching his father work. Not just work — but work with pride. When Joe started Piazza's Landscaping & Contracting in 2001, he wasn't trying to build a big company. He was trying to build a good one. He had a truck, a mower, and a reputation he hadn't earned yet — but he knew exactly how he was going to earn it. One property at a time. One promise kept at a time.

The early years weren't easy. Building a business in Charles County meant competing against larger companies with bigger equipment and lower prices. But Joe had something they didn't: he showed up. Every time. On time. And when something wasn't right, he fixed it — without being asked, without charging extra, without making the client feel like they were asking for too much.

Word spread the way it always does when someone actually delivers: one neighbor told another. Then another. Then their neighbor called. Within a few years, Piazza's Landscaping had grown from a one-man operation into a full-service landscaping and contracting company serving hundreds of properties across Maryland, Virginia, and the D.C. metro.

Today, Joe still walks every new property personally. He still reviews every estimate. He still takes calls from clients who've been with him for fifteen years — and treats them with the same attention as a client he's meeting for the first time. That's not a business strategy. That's just who he is.
